Framed Size  10" x 8", with non reflective glass.   My Robin perches cutely on the old wall.  So often there watching and befriending the gardener, it is particularly timely to be publishing this picture as we start another Spring and re-discover our garden.  He is the last of five in my smaller range of paintings.   SOLD at Brett Gallery, Monks Eleigh.

The UK's favourite bird - with its bright red breast it is familiar throughout the year and especially at Christmas! Males and females look identical, and young birds have no red breast and are spotted with golden brown.  Read more.....RSPB Robin

The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.
