Lapwings Original Acrylic " Peewit "

Framed Size  10" x 8", with non reflective glass.   The fourth in my smaller range of paintings.  Overlooking the water, this thoughtful Lapwing looks quite proud and alert.  SOLD privately.

The Lapwing is the most widespread of our breeding waders and a species associated with a wide range of open country habitats. The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.
