Framed size 9" x 21", with non reflective glass.  After the speedy success of my previous, and first, Long Tailed Tits painting, I could not resist creating another. The painting is on Cold Press, extra heavy, off white Crescent art board and I aim to produce the finest detail in both the subject and its natural setting.  The shade of the Daler mountboard is carefully selected depending on the painting, as is the toning of the frame itself.  SOLD

Gregarious and noisy residents, long-tailed tits are most usually noticed in small, excitable flocks of about 20 birds.  Like most tits, they rove the woods and hedgerows, but are also seen on heaths and commons with suitable bushes.  Read more.......RSPB Long Tailed Tits
